Kenny’s 1963 Super Duty Catalina
Kenny Colacino’s super-rare ‘63 Catalina with a factory 421 H.O. Tri-Power engine. 2-Door Sedan, 1 of 14 sedans built, 1 of three known to exsist, built 3/15/63 well after the GM corporate ban on racing . Aluminum front end and bumpers, 421 Super Duty motor factory rated at 405 HP, aluminum exhaust manifolds and collectors, deep oil pan and pump, factory Aluminum Bathtub Tunnel Ram intake manifold with correct Daytona AFB carbs, T-10 close ratio 4-speed trans with high content nickel gears, aluminum rear end center section with posi-trac and over the counter Pontiac 4:67 aluminum steering box, Delco engineering sample tach drive distributor, and a flat 4-blade fan for less drag. Formally drag raced in Ohio as the Aluma Chief.
